pleasant stay with room for improvement
The staff offered excellent support whenever needed. The parking situation was straightforward, making arrivals and departures stress-free. I appreciated the lovely breakfast selection. it was more than just basic options. The room I stayed in was spacious with a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
However, the bathroom fixtures could use an update.

We really enjoyed the comfy beds and spacious room for our family. It was great having a separate sitting area where the kids could play while we relaxed. The hotel’s location provided easy access to explore beautiful Hobart, and dining options were surprisingly good.
My kids wished for a kid-friendly menu in the restaurant.

Spacious, beautifully decorated room with cozy atmosphere. No lift access made it challenging for carrying luggage.

The spacious twin room offered a pleasant surprise with its separate sitting area and kitchenette, where I enjoyed making tea and coffee. Spotless cleanliness was evident throughout my stay. Also, the friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better. However, the absence of a bathtub in the large bathroom was disappointing. The need to drive into the city for dining options was inconvenient, despite having a few restaurants within a 20-minute walk.

An unexpected cozy escape
The moment we opened the door to our room, we were greeted by a beautiful view. The staff was accommodating, quickly finding us a room with a breathtaking outlook!
Unfortunately, we encountered a delay in hot water, which was a bit disappointing. The shared noise from the adjoining balcony was also a slight annoyance during our stay.

The hotel boasts a picturesque historic building with charming antique furnishings, giving it a unique character. The spacious bathroom featured double basins, which made for a comfortable experience, though renovations could improve things further.
Certain aspects fell short, like the breakfast selection that lacked variety, with only scrambled eggs and potatoes on offer. The TV in the room is outdated, and the bed feels small, which may detract from the overall comfort. Plus, navigating the uneven floors can be tricky, especially if you have mobility concerns. For a place claiming to have higher standards, these elements could use some serious attention.

It was just a reliable pick for a transient stop in Hobart with very good value for money. I appreciated how clean the bathroom was, even if it didn't have enough towel hooks. Make sure to bring extra hand towels if you prefer them, as they may not always be available.
